Day 99 Polling Projects

Recently I received an e-mail from a fellow faculty member, an Assistant Professor in Education at College of DuPage, requesting completion of a short survey on behalf of one of her students.  She wrote:

Education students will once again be demonstrating technology tools for instructors to use in the classroom. One of my students is interested in learning more about how faculty members use (or don’t use) Poll Everywhere. She has created a survey that she would like faculty members to complete. The survey below will take only seconds to complete. Thank you in advance for your support of her project!

In comparing online polling systems like Kahoot, Nearpod, Mentimeter, TopHat, Slido and Socrative, most offer similar ways to respond (via text message), poll functionality (types, results, multiple questions) and reporting.  I believe it is an efficient and effective way to collect information.

I consulted the Poll Everywhere website and found:

This is how it works
